323# Jewfish in 15' Skiff
In the mid to late '60s, some of the Miami Sportfishing Club members had perfected techniques for taking these large members of the grouper family on a consistent basis with lines as light as 6# test, though the fish in the photo was taken on 20# test line. Often the fight was only half of the battle, for loading a fish of this size in a small skiff presented a considerable challenge.
