What Billy called a “slow day”, to me was very impressive. While my crew and I would drop baits to the bottom, Daniel would pitch out flat line baits. The tunas and kings were tearing up the surface attacking his baits! When the day was done we met up at the dock with Ralph Delph, Billy’s father, who had an impressive catch of his own. Billy and his son Daniel are courteous, knowledgable, and as professional as can be. Daniel carry’s himself like a lifelong pro, I believe he’s 11 years old! I can’t wait for the next one.
Billy Delph is a true professional in terms of both fishing and family. I enjoy his first mates (his sons) when the accompany dad on charter.
I can say that anyone whether novice or professional would enjoy a day with Billy.
I have always caught a lot of fish including multiple species of Grouper and Snapper. My most recent trip was to the Dry Tortugas and we caught several very large Amber Jacks. They were a great fight and a great dinner!!!!
The boat and equipment are first class!!!!
