We had a blast in the Dry Tortugas, while making short work of a six man Grouper limit. On top of that got a few nice Mutton Snapper, and released plenty more Grouper. Happy to see the wintertime fishing starting to show up strong.

After a long battle with cancer, we finally lost our mom, Caroline Delph. This has been so difficult in so many ways for each of us Delphs, but one thing that I have learned and wanted to share with all of you is how special the bond and love is between a mother and her children really is. It’s a different kind of loss. We all grew very distant from her over the last 20 years for various life circumstances including geographic location, illness, death, and several other factors. Because of those circumstances I wasn’t sure how it was going to feel when she passed. Was it going to be the same bittersweet that accompanied my father‘s death or something different? I really wasn’t sure, and after her passing yesterday, I can tell you that the loss and pain I feel is specifically unique to the loss of a mother. This love must be formed somewhere between the womb or child birth or maybe just God given but It’s truly unique and special. I hope each of you will consider this gift in your own mothers and maybe slow down and take the time to appreciate that woman that brought you here and gave you life. I feel incredibly thankful for any of the good that she gave me in this life. Thankful to God and thankful to her. I love you mom and always will. 👆🏻📸 The barracuda in this first photo was a line class world record with the IGFA, caught on my father’s boat, the vitaminsea. And the second photo of the bluefin tuna was caught with nobody else on the boat, but him and her at 65 years old! They did it together! How cool is that?💪🏻#grateful #foryou #mom

Apparently, spending your birthday, in the Dry Tortugas has its benefits! One of the last drops of the day we pulled this slob up from the bottom. These Black Grouper are always such an exciting fish. We caught him using our @daiwausa Saltiga LD 40 paired with our prototype @blackfin_rods conventional setup. We are looking forward to releasing these soon and I can promise you they will be top-notch. We have the classic cork grip which we love the look and feel of. What are your thoughts?

It’s amazing the variety of different species that Pulley Ridge has to offer. We caught Barrel fish, snowy grouper, black grouper, red grouper, scamp grouper, Yelloweye snapper, and more. These barrels were pretty cool to see as they are not super common. Both of which exceeded 25 lbs. have you ever caught one?

We couldn’t be happier with our Seahunter 41CTS. This boat has been an absolute monster all the way around. Taking this beast 150 miles out makes it feel like only 75. We can’t wait to share these experiences with you all. Busted!!!👮🏻‍♂️🚓🚨This Golden Tilefish got caught trying to steal my jig from my rosefish. Not today punk! 💪🏻 It was the most aggressive take I've ever had from a Golden. Felt the rose fish and started cranking him up and thought to myself. Let me drop him back down and see if I can at least hook another one since I have to come up so far. As I started dropping back down and kaboom! That’s when she crushed it and about ripped the rod out of my hand! She Made a hard run all the way back to the bottom! Wasn’t expecting that at all. In fact, I have never seen that before with golden tile fish. 🤯

I must say the things we are doing out here with our @rhodan @seaswivle @abyss in combination with our Furuno 3d mapping system is truly revolutionary. It’s changing what we do in a way that we will never go back. Long live the days of old because they are gone forever. 🪦
